Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 5 March 2026
Our commitment
PixelArc Ventures LTD is committed to making Caredact accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of disability, technology or environment. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
Conformance status
Caredact is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We continuously test and improve accessibility across the platform. Our current Lighthouse accessibility score is 100/100, which covers automated checks including colour contrast, form labels, landmarks, ARIA attributes and heading structure.
We are working towards full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance, including manual testing for keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility and focus management.
Measures taken
We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML throughout the application
- Skip navigation links on all pages
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios (WCAG AA minimum 4.5:1)
- Form inputs with associated labels and error messages announced to screen readers
- Logical heading hierarchy (h1 through h6)
- ARIA landmarks for page regions
- Decorative elements hidden from assistive technology
- Responsive design that supports text resizing up to 200%
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible:
- A formal WCAG 2.2 AA audit by an independent third party has not yet been completed
- Some dynamic content updates may not be immediately announced by all screen readers
We are actively working to address these limitations.
